Utover på 1970-tallet var det aktuelt med sammenslåinger av flere foreninger i Ringsaker. I 1979 ble avd. 102 slått sammen med Veldre og Nybygda skog- og landarbeiderforening (avd. 298) til Furnes og Veldre skog- og landarbeiderforening. Foreningen beholdt avdelingsnummer 102 i Norsk skog- og landarbeiderforbund.</div>
