Foto Sarah Jane Hails}}<br /> Holmen i Balestrand er eit veleigna utgangspunkt for ei fjordbasert jakt på kulturminne. Turistkontoret i Balestrand vil med glede fortelja om kulturminna i kommunen. Eitt av desse er minnesteinen ved Kviknes Hotel, som vart reist i 1911, til minne om skipinga av Fylkesbaatane i 1858. Turistkontoret har informasjon om båt- og kajakkutleige. <br /> <br /> Frå den trivelege småbåthamna i Balestrand passar det godt med ein tur inn i Esefjorden, den vesle fjordarmen med det store innhaldet.
