<p>Botgenerert artikkel fra fotoregisteret</p> <p><b>Ny side</b></p><div>&#039;&#039;&#039;Ivar Brecke&#039;&#039;&#039; (1838-1909)<br /> Sønn av Mads I. Brekke og Ane Eline Digernes. Vokste opp i Vanylven. Gift med Beate Steen fra Molde. Brecke må ha kommet til Ålesund som ganske ung mann. En tid var han butikkbetjent, senere fotograf. Muligens har han kombinert fotograferingen med et annet yrke under Ålesunds-oppholdet. Alle de bevarte bildene er portretter og bare et par av dem viser personer i helfigur. Det vi kan lese ut av dette materialet er at atelieret har vært svært enkelt. Ingen av bildene har bakveggsteppe, noe som var kommet på moten på den tid Brecke virket.
