Stasjonen har et 12m høyt tårn bygd opp av naturstein. Tårnet mangler lyktehus og fyrdriften er erstattet med en fyrlykt. Den øvrige bebyggelsen danner et lukket tun og omfatter maskinhus, boliger og uthus. Fyrstasjonen har naust og landing. Anlegget ligger i et tidligere dyrket landskap. Området har fuglelivsfredning etter lov om naturvern<br /> <br /> Verneverdien knytter ser til fyrstasjonens relativt høye alder og til det sjeldne tårnmaterialet.
