(født 1876 i [[Flekkefjord]], død 18. september 1910 på Cuba) var ingeniør.<br /> <br /> Han var sønn av Sivert og Tobine Tønnessen. Begge var født i Flekkefjord hvor Lauritz også ble født. Familien flyttet til [[Mandal]] da han var barn. <br /> <br /> I 1897 gikk han ut av [[Horten tekniske skole]]. Han tituleres som «Vei &amp; vandbygningsingeniør». Etter hvert dro han til Cuba for å jobbe som ingeniør der.
