<p><b>Ny side</b></p><div>'''[[Leif Skarkerud]]''' (født 8. juli 1907 på [[Gjøvik]], død 1. mai 1988) var teolog og lektor.<br />
<br />
Han var sønn av eiendomsmegler [[Martinus Skarkerud]] (1882&ndash;1958) og Gunda f. Huse (1882&ndash;1962). Familien bodde i [[Trondhjemsveien (Gjøvik)|Trondhjemsveien]] 11 før de flytta til [[Rakkestad]].<br />
<br />
Etter [[eksamen artium]] på latinlinja ved [[Oslo katedralskole]] i 1926 tok han cand.theol.-graden i 1933. Etter pedagogisk eksamen i 1934, og seinere også bifagseksamen i tysk, var han timelærer ved [[Grimeland skole]] fra 1935 til 1939 og ved [[Aars og Voss skole]] fra 1938 til 1939.<br />
<br />
Fra høstsemesteret 1939 var Skarkerud lektor på [[Trondheim katedralskole]]. Etter fjorten år der, begynte han ved [[Berg videregående skole|Berg gymnas]]. Skarkerud døde i 1988 og er begravet med foreldrene på [[Rakkestad kirke]]gård.<br />
