Sletta var [[Tjølling idrettsforening]]s trenings- og kamparena fra lenge før den andre verdenskrig og til bortimot 1960. Der spilte man fotballkamper med ekte fotballmål fram til sent i 1940-årene. Enda i noen år fortsatte det med seriekamper i håndball. Skogen rundt sletta var garderobe.<br />

''Lisalsetta'' ble også anvendt til den årlige skoleidrettsdagen. Den ble som regel avholdt midt i september, med deltakelse fra alle skolene i Tjølling med unntak av Østre Halsen skole.<br />
