Norges lag vant hele mesterskapet. Manojkumar spilte [[cricket]] på skolelaget til [[Jaffna]] [[Central College]] i perioden 1979 til 1985. I samme periode var han kaptein på skolelaget. I 1983 ble Manojkumar kåret som beste spiller i skoleserieturneringen i Jaffna-distriktet.<br />
