<p>Botgenerert artikkel fra fotoregisteret</p> <p><b>Ny side</b></p><div>&#039;&#039;&#039;Olav Knutsen Storegjerde&#039;&#039;&#039; (1879-1958)<br /> Født på Storegjerde i Hallebygda ved Larsnes 05.12.1879. S. av Knut S. og Eline Sivertsdotter, fødd Halle. I ungdommen dro han til Trondheim og ble læregutt på Trondhjems mekaniske verksted. Sluttet etter en stund og begynte i lære hos fotograf Georg Wellin. Etter utstått læretid startet han egen forretning på Larsnes i april 1904, reiste også meget omkring og fotograferte i bygdene på ytre søre Sunnmøre, helt nord til Hareid, men han reiste også mye i bygdene i Nordfjord. I 1940 flyttet han til Ulsteinvik (samarbeidet med fotograf Hjertnes). Var også endel i Ålesund. Han har etterlatt seg et stort arkiv med mange verdifulle bilder. Sverre Brudevoll, Syvde, har tatt vare på endel av hans eldre plater. Sande sogelag eier nå platesamlingen.
