Datter av fotografmester Chr. Hansen og Elisabeth Heggelund, g. 1936 m. Gunnar F. (28.11.1904-), sønn av Margrethe og Gunerius F., 1 sønn. Hun gikk i lære hos sin far 1927-1931. Sv.br. 1932, håndv.br. 1939. Kurs Trondheim Fagskole, overtok i 1935 den fotografforretningen som faren i 1897 hadde overtatt etter Hedley With, som i 1895 hadde overtatt den etter Jørgen E. Wickstrøm, som startet den ca. 1860/65. Hun drev den sammen med ektefellen til sin død i 1976, drev også lyskopieringsanstalt. Deretter ble firmaet overtatt av sønnen Knut (1942-), som ikke er utdannet fotograf, men som fortsetter atelieret med leiet hjelp. Hun var den første olderkvinne i Nord-Norges Fotograflaug, 1963-64.
