Juni 1946.<br /> <br /> Foreningen organiserte funksjonærene og tjenestemennene i [[Strinda]] kommune og var tilsluttet [[Norsk kommuneforbund]] og [[Trøndelag faglige Samorganisasjon]]. Strinda Kommunale Tjenestemenns Forening hadde fra starten et tett samarbeid med [[Strinda kommunale Arbeiderforening]], særlig når det gjaldt forhandlinger med kommunen. Foreningen hadde et felles interessekontor med Trondheim Kommunale Tjenestemenns og Arbeideres Interessekontor. <br /> <br /> Strinda Kommunale Tjenestemenns Forening ble oppløst 1963 i forbindelse med kommunesammenslåingen av Strinda og Trondheim kommuner. Midlene ble overført til Trondheim Kommunale Tjenestemenns Forening og Sykehusbetjeningens forening avd. 174. Ved nedleggelsen var det 181 medlemmer i foreningen, 123 gikk over i Trondheim Kommunale Tjenestemenns Forening og 58 gikk over til Sykehusbetjeningens forening.</div>
